Title: Take it for granted
They love each other. He takes care of her, treats her meticulously and considers her as his precious treasure.
One day, she was sick but still had things to do. He accompanied her, held her hands, hugged her when she was so sick that she couldn’t sit straightly.
Although he was also sick, having a headache, he still stayed by her side.
“Thank you, really. “she says.
“Poor girl. Why do you say this? ”he says.
“I just don’t want to take all you have done for me for granted.” she says.
How many times do we take it for granted, when somebody do things for us? When someone does nice things to us, we show our gratitude to him or her at first. However, when we are familiar to what others have done for us, gratitude turns to general feelings. People always like the new things and get tired of the old things. What was unique once becomes nothing special at all. At that time, we forget that it is not easy to own one’s help and love. Once we forget the importance of other people’s help and love, we won’t treasure it. When they notice our ignoring, they will take what they have given back and it’s time for us to lose. People always start to know the importance of what they had owned when they lose them. Some people try to hold the tail of escaping happiness then they understand that it’s useless. We are treated meticulously because we are worthy of it but it’s not a necessary thing for other people to do this. We treat people well because we want to, because he or she is worthy of it, not only because it’s a responsibility. Therefore, always be thankful for what people do for you and don’t forget the feeling of appreciation.
